WVR Overview: You'll pass through stunning scenery, discover
historical landmarks, and connect with local communities. Experienced
walkers will encounter a challenging new race opportunity. Social walkers
can get together with friends and family to discover the bountiful Willamette
Valley. To participate, you'll join a team of walkers, rent a van, and
walk the course in relays. Rest stops and water are provided along the
way, as well as activities, games, and a few surprises. Course contests
will offer teams, including participants in the vans, opportunities
to win awards. And, of course, you'll be walking a course that is safe,
well-organized, and prepared for you to get the most enjoyment from
this experience.

"Looking forward to doing it again next year. We all had a great time. We are out recruiting old team members that dropped off another team of ours years ago because of the crowds for that event. Couple of them are going to join us and are excited again about doing a relay. Thanks for organizing an event for just walkers. It ROCKS!!!"
- John, 2005 Willamette Valley Relay participant
"The Willamette Valley Relay was an awesome event for our
new and experienced walkers. The team couldn't quit talking about how
much fun we had and are looking forward
to future Wonders of Walking events."
- Donna LaFayette, Participant WVR, 2004
